Best Pad Printing Inks

Pad printing inks are composed of solvents. It is the process of evaporation of these solvents from the inks, the most important Mechanism for the operation is the process of pad printing. When the ink in the etched image of this area causes evaporation of solvents containing the surface of the Sticky ink to. The shape and flexibility of the pad is such that once it is compressed to the pressure of the plate rolling surface of the pad over the plate, of which as a result it comes in contact with the sticky surface of the ink. The ink adheres to the pad as the pad lifts the pressure surface is rolling away from the plate and lifts up ink from the etching.

As the pad moves in the direction of the object to the solvent to be printed remains to evaporate from the ink on the pad and the outside of the ink is sticky. Since the pad contact increases with the object and compresses, the print roll surface of the pad on the object and the sticky surface of the ink attaches itself to the surface of Object. The pad then raises the pressure and surface of the pad is rolling away from the surface of the object and gives them to leave the ink on the surface. While this happens, the etched part of the plate is charged with ink, and the pad again to pick up a different image from the plate.

These are the basic processes of pad printing. But we should also know some of the simple rules for the conservation of color and the color of the ink pad too. Some of these rules are as follows:

* The ink should always in a dry, well ventilated, dark place with temperatures between 10 ° and 25 ° C are to be avoided to direct rays of the sun.

* The ink that is mixed with colors should be saved for a long time.

* The ink should always be stored at a distance from heat sources and forth, as well as acidic or alkaline products.

* The containers should be tightly sealed and should be placed in a position to standing.

* After a container should be quickly closed again with ink to prevent in order that the remaining ink from drying out or forming a crust on the top. It is advisable to ink with to cover a layer of dilutions of the same series as the ink.

* The bi-component catalysts in the inks used are usually is hygroscopic and the effectiveness to lose in a humid atmosphere when the tanks are left wholly or partially open.

* The receiver, when the ink is ready, and all utensils used in the preparation, must be clean and in good condition be to avoid the contamination of the ink preparation.

It is also very important to keep the ink shells, leaves, mixed containers, spatulas, plates, etc thoroughly cleaned after each use to avoid possible incompatibilities that may cause a mixture of ink and auxiliary products of another Type

Before using pad printing ink for adequate knowledge of color mixing is very important to achieve a pressure Imaging with screen printing or pad. If the mixing is not properly done, go the entire printing process is all wrong, as so they can lead to a loss of production and a waste of valuable time, money and energy.
