Raid: Poster Artist Extraordinaire
During the golden age, especially the new computer technology, hired advertisers the best artists to create unique Renderings wanted to do the things they sell to get from their competitors with a strong image. Raid the posters embody perfect communication – elegant and modern running with unique surreal art deco shortly.
He began his career as a successful photographer hired to capture "Rock & Roll giants like Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones and Pink Floyd. But raid began to feel limited by the camera. You are looking for an expression that gave him the opportunity to capture every detail of the composition Control, he devoted himself to graphic design. In most cases the artist would produce a painting, and if it is approved, would the corresponding Text to be lithographed. Raid still creates his posters from the original painting, a technique that is not very common at this age. With this new meaning and purpose, was the Need for a new name.
Sun raid was born. In the past 25 years he has designed some of the most memorable images, for the grace of the present marketplace. Raid, lives and works in Paris, and already has numerous posters for Louis Vuitton, the world, including the Parc de Bagatelle Concours d'Elegance and the America's Challenge Cup. He has also done artwork for several restaurants in the United States and Europe, as well as the Cannes Film Festival, Monte Carlo Country Club and many others.
